Photographed from elevated plateau overlooking village of Avellanosa de Muno, Spain. The last few seconds before totality and prominences beginning to appear. Nikon D810, 300mm f2.8 with 1.4x teleconverter. Post totality the already low elevation Sun sinks below atmospheric 'haze' boundary allowing direct viewing and photography without filters. Nikon D850, 70-200mm f2.8
