Details:
Under truly poor conditions, I was able to observe the M7-class flare. Despite heavy cloud cover around the Sun, the flare shone brightly on my screen. I also captured off-band images of Halpha. Since this strong flare occurred in the center of the solar disk, it will have an impact on Earth’s magnetic field in a few days. We are all dependent not only on our Earth but, above all, on our home sun!
