Details:
We had hopes of making proper high-dynamic range photographs of the solar corona to compare with a colleague's simulations, however a fault in our equipment meant that we only captured the last of the eclipse at quite the high exposure. Ultimately though, what was a setback ended us up with quite a lovely result! We got to the coronal magnetic field lines, southern coronal hole, all with the iconic "diamond ring" dominating the foreground. What an experience.
