Details:
Back on July 18th just one minute after the Chinese space station did a flyby, a meteor was captured by two different cameras, two different points of view and two different timed exposures. First image is a 30 second exposure with iPhone 13 Pro, second image is a 10 second exposure using a Seestar S30 pro. Thought it was pretty cool that the first image captured the whole meteor disintegration, and the second image only managed to capture the peak. I been seeing one or two of these meteors every other night or so between 9:00pm-10:00pm looking south, southwest. Last night during the peak, I decided to aimed my camera north away from the moon’s glare between 12am-5:00am only to capture a couple of faint meteors. It’s an awful big sky!
