Details:
The close conjunction of Venus and Regulus, the “Heart of the Lion,” was one of the most notable celestial events of July 2026. The brilliant planet Venus appeared beside the bright star, creating a wonderful opportunity to admire the beauty of the night sky. To capture this moment, I traveled 1200 kilometers to the countryside near Ferdows in South Khorasan Province, where I framed the conjunction above the region’s striking mountains. I used a diffusion filter to enhance the scene and convey the captivating glow of this memorable encounter.
