Details:
Group 4478 appears quite impressive (with appropriate filters it can even be seen with the naked eye) but, all in all, quiet. Group 4479, on the other hand, is slightly less extensive but produced an X1-class flare on the evening of June 30th, followed by other less intense ones (no auroras are expected at mid-latitudes).
The white light images are affected by fair seeing.
