Inspired by Maximilian-Vlad Teodorescu's best photo I've ever seen, I made an image from data taken by the robotic spacecraft Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) just for comparison.
I remeber in the previous millennium, it was a challenge to see the central crater in telescopes.

I also made an animation with Maximilian-Vlad Teodorescu's image and LRO, but I can not publish it without consent.
